Teach you how to operate the four wheel aligner

The four wheel positioning instrument is used to detect the wheel positioning parameters of the automobile, and compare with the original design parameters, and guide the users to adjust the wheel positioning parameters accordingly, so as to meet the original design requirements to achieve the ideal vehicle driving performance, namely, the precision measuring instrument with light operation, stable driving and reducing tire partial wear.

The four wheel positioning instrument consists of four wheel positioning instrument host, sensor head, clamp, mechanical turning wheel (or electronic steering wheel), steering wheel fixing frame, brake pedal fixing frame, etc.

The vehicle requires four wheel alignment when any of the following conditions occur:

① Abnormal wear occurs on the tire, such as unilateral wear or concave and convex wear and feather wear.

② The steering wheel is too heavy, too light and the steering wheel shakes when driving fast.

③ After the vehicle has replaced the suspension system accessories such as tires, knuckle and shock absorber.

④ After the collision accident of the vehicle.

⑤ When the car is running 10000 kilometers or the new car is running 3000 meters.

The use method of four wheel positioning instrument

1. Preparation before operation:

① Check that there is no unacceptable clearance and damage to the vehicle suspension, wheel bearings, steering system, etc

② Check the tires. The maximum allowable deviation of tread depth of the same car is 2mm, and the inflation pressure of the tire meets the requirements.

③ Vehicle equipped with full unit weight

④ Lock the turning wheel and sliding plate, then park the vehicle on the lifter, and press the front wheel at the center of the left and right corner wheel, and the center of the vehicle coincides with the center of the lifter.

⑤ After the car enters, release the locking limit device of the turning wheel and sliding plate so that it can rotate or move freely, and then install the bogie holder and brake pedal holder.

2. Operation steps and items

① Install the four sensors on the rim in sequence and establish data connections with the computer

② Shake the sensor left and right until the sensor is adjusted to the horizontal position and lock (when horizontal, the indicator light on the sensor will turn from red light on both sides to green light in the middle)

③ The four wheel positioning instrument is started and entered into the test procedure. First, enter the model and year of the vehicle being inspected.

④ Lift the body with a hoist, remove the brake pedal holder, make the wheels suspended and rotate freely

⑤ Eccentric compensation: press the screen prompt to rotate the wheel 90 ° clockwise, adjust the head level and lock it. Press the "OK" button on the head to complete 180 °, 270 ° and 360 ° operation according to this, and the eccentric compensation measurement of a wheel can be completed. Its parameters are displayed next to it. The rest of the wheels operate accordingly.

Note: when lowering the body, remember not to turn the wheel, and ensure that each wheel is in the position when compensation is completed.

⑥ Lower the body, make the four wheels to ground, shake the body, make the wheels close to the ground, and the eccentric compensation operation is completed.

⑦ According to the computer screen, turn the front wheel left and then return to the right, and the computer will show a light color (OK); turn back to the right at the same angle (OK).

⑧ After the front wheels are returned to the correct position, the computer screen displays the standard values and measured values of the vehicle toe, main pin tilt back, wheel camber, and propulsion angle. The red arrow indicates that the measured value is beyond the standard value range, and adjustment shall be made.

⑨ Adjust items that do not meet the requirements. If you do not know the adjustment method can be transferred in the computer; if the adjustment is invalid, the reason for the deformation of parts, should be replaced.

⑩ After all items meet the requirements, shake the body again, rotate the wheel and then test. If all items still meet the technical requirements, the test is finished.
